1st, I want to Thank You for the care Package that I Received on Christmas Day from You. There were very nice things in the package, most of all the Oldies DVD of Johnny Carson, who I Love to watch!!!! The soaps of Irish Spring are great, along with all the other items that came with it.

I'm currently Deployed with the United States Air Force to the Middle east at Al Dhafra Air Base in the (UAE) United Arab Emirates. I've been here since Sep 2006, but was in Kyrgyzstan (near Russia) from July-Sep 2006. I'm a Reservist stationed out of McGuire AFB, N.J.

When I get back home, which is in Clifton, N.J. I will be able to relax and enjoy life away from this side of the World. I wish a lot more people would understand, as You do, that living in the United States is so much nicer especially with all the Freedoms we have; which should be Cherished.

I hope you are enjoying a Nice Holiday Vacation and having fun….I know when I get home I will again enjoy having some fun and relaxation.

By the way, back in N.J. I am employed as a Garfield Police Officer and have been there for some time. I am happy to be serving abroad with the Global War on Terrorism; but will be Happier serving the People of the State of N.J., Bergen County and of course the City of Garfield.

I am scheduled to return to the U.S.A. in Mid January 2007, and returning back to work probably late Feb 2007. If you, your classmates or School need anything that I can help with, please feel Free to contact me at the G.P.D.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you and to everyone that participated in the care package that I received. The Nestle hot chocolate was absolutely delicious. Also, to Ariel who wrote and designed the card for me. Please know that everything has placed a really big smile on my face for the holidays. I am from New Jersey as well, so to know that my fellow statesmen support me, being here in the middle east, really makes a difference. Dear Mr. Cronk,

Thank you very much for the package that you sent. So far I received 3 out of the 13. It was very nice of your Rotary Club and Mrs. Sherman's Honor Society to do that for us. I passed 2 of them out to 2 of my other team members and I will distribute the rest once I get them. Of course I took the first one : ) . It is a great feeling knowing that people who are strangers to me care so much about us and take the time out of their busy schedules to send us cards and care packages. Especially around the Christmas season when everyone is rushing around trying to take care of their own families.

In my box was a hand made card from Naomi who is a sophomore at the high school. Out of all the cards I've gotten, the hand made ones are the best to me. I have a son who is also a sophomore in high school in south Jersey and a daughter who is 18. Please tell Naomi thank you and to wish her and her family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...
