COVID-19 has resulted in the closure of businesses, and unemployment has significantly impacted the most vulnerable among us. In addition, our medical professionals and first responders are being stretched beyond the limit. 

To support the organizations that are supporting our frontline responders and the most vulnerable members in our community, the Ridgewood Rotary Foundation has pledged matching funds of $12,000. We will match every dollar donated to the Rotary foundation for the COVID-19 Community Relief Fund,  doubling the impact of your donation!!

The Ridgewood Rotary Foundation will accept your tax-deductible contribution, match it, and distribute the funds to the COVID-19 Community Relief Fund. The Relief Fund is currently supporting the following organizations:

• Social Service of Ridgewood and Vicinity (SSA) - SSA has had to close down their food pantry, but they are continuing to provide support for 200 food insecure families in the area.  

• West Bergen Mental Health - West Bergen is in need of meals for clients who are no longer able to leave their group homes. Many of their clients were previously employed in local businesses that are now shuttered.

• ​Feed the Frontlines - The Feed the Frontlines initiative is being coordinated by the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce and the Mayor's office to feed our first frontline healthcare workers at Valley Hospital, our first responders and other vulnerable families. Local restaurants provide the meals, which has the added benefit of helping to support our local businesses during these difficult times.
