The Rotary Club of Ridgewood AM thanks everyone who participated in the food collection on Saturday the 24th of April.
Thanks to our Rotarian volunteers and our Interact Club members from Ridgewood High School, we collected bags full of donated food from generous shoppers at Stop and Shop and Fresh Market in Ridgewood. We are so thankful for everyone’s participation in this effort to help the hungry in our community.
A special thanks to Peter Krautle our Rotary Club member who not only collected food but also loaded boxes and bags of food and drove them to Father English Food Pantry in Paterson after collection. Please see Peter’s Facebook post on his conversation with the pantry’s director and how this pantry impacts the lives of many in the Paterson area.
We will see everyone again on the fourth Saturday of May. In the meantime, if you wish to donate food items or money to Social Service Association of Ridgewood or Father English Food Pantry - meet us on Saturday!
